This was the last day we were on the island. Friends gradually went to the airport to catch their flights back to Sydney. I decided to have a short tour of its capital city – Hobart.
We are definitely not gastronomists! but nobody doesn’t like delicious food. Due to the 40°C of the local temperature of that day, we failed to find a possible detour to get to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, and turned our attention to eating instead.
Bridestowe Lavender Farm might be one of the most famous places in Tasmania! Might because of the popular purple bear on social media? I guess. There are a lot of amazing spots at north-east Tasmania, The Giant Windmill Farm for example.
Happy New Year 2019! We spent our new year eve at an unknown spot beside a lake. A place only 4X4 could drive through! A lot of fun places were passed without staying, our captain was eager to find a perfect place to collect abalone!
If time could fly backward, I would join this 9-day tour Tasmania trip again, without any question! You do not have too many chances to travel like this, driving a 4X4 with friends and sleeping in the roof tents possibly anywhere you like!
Who would like to drive more than 600Km to watch a flower? I asked myself this question until I came to Grafton. You can never find the same place which is covered by the light purple flower – Jacaranda.
